Turning to Beijing now, Top Chiese legislators 张德江 has meet a delegation of Japanese lawmakers.
Former Japanese Foreign Minister Masahiko Kamura is leading 9 Japanese politicians on a three-day visit to Beijing.
张德江 welcomed the delegation and Komura said he would like to make effort to improve to strained relations between the two countries.
The group arrived on Monday and were welcomed by Tang Jiaxuan, president of the China-Japan friendship association.
Tang said the visit is of special significance.
The visit comes amid soaring tentions between China and Japan.
Contentions caused by visits of Japanese politicians, including Prime Minister Abe to the controversial yasukuni shrine last year.
It is the highest contact between leaders of the two countries in recent months.
